How to integrate eDVIR for Geotab

This article covers how to integrate eDVIR for Geotab customers.
Why Integrate eDVIR?

Step-by-Step Guide
- Log in to MyGeotab and go to People > Clearances from the Menu (if you don’t see this, go to Admin > Users > Clearances).
- Select the “Nothing” Clearance, and select Add Sub-Clearance.
- Name it Ryder eDVIR.
- In the search box below the name, type “Asset” and enable the following features:
- Administer Asset Inspection logs
- Mark Asset Inspection logs as certified
- Mark Asset Inspection logs as repaired
- Perform Asset Inspections
- View Asset Inspection logs
- List assets
- View Asset status information
- View Untracked Assets
5. Select Save.

Adding the Ryder eDVIR User
- In MyGeotab go to People > Users & Drivers (if you don’t see this, go to Admin > Users).
- Select Add and enter the following:
- User: sa_geotab_edvir@ryder.com.
- First Name: RyderConnect.
- Last Name: eDVIR Service Account.
- Auth Type: MyAdmin (Reseller Support).
- Security Clearance: Ryder eDVIR Service Account.
- Groups: (Optionally select a Group associated with Ryder assets).
3. Select Save.

Share the Database Name
Email ryderconnect_onboarding@ryder.com with your database name, found in the top right corner of your MyGeotab account under your username.
