This article examines how to view, schedule, and manage service appointments for smoother maintenance planning and better customer service. If plans change or details were entered incorrectly, RyderGyde™ makes it easy to reschedule vehicle appointments.

Scheduling a Service Appointment

 

Schedule Service at a Primary Shop Location

1. Log in to rydergyde.com.
2. Navigate to Maintenance > Requires Service.
3. Scroll or search to find your unit. 
4. Select the vehicle number > Schedule Service.
5. The vehicle's domicile location will be displayed. Location services must be turned on. Change the service location if needed.
6. Services needed will be listed based on defects or scheduled inspections. Add additional services if needed.
7. Select days and times to drop off and pick up the vehicle. Available days are shown in black.
8. Select Book It Now to schedule the service.

Schedule a Service at a Different Location

1. Log in to rydergyde.com.
2. Navigate to Maintenance > Requires Service.
3. Scroll or search to find your unit. 
4. Select the vehicle number > Schedule Service.
5. The vehicle's domicile location will be displayed. Location services must be turned on. Change the service location if needed.
6. Please review the listed services and add any that are necessary.
7. Select days and times to drop off and pick up the vehicle. Available days are shown in black.
8. Select Book It Now to schedule the service.
 

Tip: Service Appointments

By default, service appointments are at the vehicle's primary shop location for preventive maintenance services. 
• You can elect to change the service location in the scheduling process.
• During the scheduling flow, you can add additional items that need to be serviced.

 

 

Viewing a Service Appointment

 

1. Log in to rydergyde.com.
2. Navigate to Maintenance > Appointments page on the menu.
3. Identify the respective unit by scrolling or searching if needed.
4. Select the vehicle number and Overview to view the appointment details.
5. You can also view an appointment from the Requires Service tab by selecting the vehicle number.

Once you have accessed the appointment details, review the information to ensure all entries are accurate and up to date. This includes checking the scheduled date, time, and location, as well as any specific service requirements or notes provided. If any changes are necessary, edit the details accordingly, then save your modifications by clicking the appropriate button to ensure the updates are applied.

 

Reschedule a Service Appointment

 

1. Log in to rydergyde.com.
2. Navigate to Maintenance > Appointments. From there, you can view/edit the appointment on the Requires Service page as well.
3. Locate the unit you wish to reschedule.
4. Select Actions > View/Edit Appointment to view the appointment details
5. Select the Reschedule button on the original appointment to make your changes.
6. Select the Book It Now button after you have made the necessary adjustments.
7. Confirm by selecting Yes. An email confirmation for the rescheduled appointment will be sent to you.
8. The updated date and time will be displayed in the appointment details.
9. To cancel your appointment, click the Cancel button.

 

Tip: Rescheduling an Appointment

  • Changing the location is not permitted.
  • Rescheduling must occur more than 12 hours before the scheduled appointment.
  • You have the option to add service items while rescheduling an appointment.

Yes. You have the option to add service items while rescheduling your appointment.

 
 

How do I cancel a service appointment?

To cancel an appointment, open the appointment details and select the Cancel button.

 
 

How do I schedule a service for my vehicle?

You can schedule service directly from the RyderGyde dashboard or by navigating to the Maintenance section. From there, access the Requires Service page to view vehicles that need attention.

 
 

Where are service appointments scheduled?

By default, service appointments are scheduled at the vehicle’s primary (domicile) shop location for preventive maintenance (PM) services.

 
 

Can I change the service location?

Yes. During the scheduling process, you can choose to change the service location if needed. If you elect to reschedule a service, this action cannot be completed.

 
 

Can I schedule service for vehicles with defects or PMs due?

Yes. Vehicles with reported defects or those marked PM Due or PM Overdue appear on the Requires Service page and are eligible for scheduling.
