Bulk Upload Functionality
If your fleet has more than 25 vehicles, you may want to use the bulk upload tool. This allows for entries or lookups from other systems by populating an Excel spreadsheet.
Step-By-Step Guide
For a quick checklist for bulk uploading vehicle readings, follow the steps:
- Log in to rydergyde.com.
- Navigate to Readings.
- Click the Bulk Upload button.
- Select a template to download.
- Please fill in your readings and resave the file.
- Upload the completed file.
Tip: Entering Information in the Template
- Don't remove columns
- Add additional vehicle numbers in the rows
- Populate the odometer column
- Follow the instructions on the second tab in the spreadsheet for additional help.

Common Questions
Can I override telematics readings?
Yes. Even if your unit is telematics‑enabled, you can override existing readings by entering updated values manually.
Why don’t I see Reefer or Standby fields?
You may need to scroll to the right to view them. Reefer and Standby fields appear only for vehicles that support those readings.
What if I need to enter readings for many vehicles?
If your fleet has more than 25 vehicles, you can use the Bulk Upload feature to enter readings all at once using an Excel spreadsheet.
How do I connect my telematics system?
To link your telematics system and reduce the need for manual entry, visit go.ryder.com/fleetsync for more information.
How do I get the Bulk Upload Readings template?
You can download the Bulk Upload template directly from RyderGyde™ after logging in and selecting the Bulk Upload Readings option on the Enter Readings page.
What happens if I upload incorrect data?
Only the data entered in the template is uploaded. Reviewing the template carefully before selecting Upload Now helps ensure accuracy. Uploaded readings are visible immediately after submission for verification.
Where can I see my readings after submission?
The new readings appear on the Enter Readings page in the Last Readings column. You can also select Readings History to view uploaded readings.
