This article outlines accident and claims reporting requirements, including required actions, documentation, and contacts, based on whether the customer carries their own insurance, has Ryder‑provided insurance, or is reporting a third‑party claim.

 

Customer Provides Insurance

If you are in an accident, damage(s) must be reported to a local Ryder shop immediately. If you provide your own insurance, you must complete the Ryder Claims Intake Form for Liability and Physical Damage depending on the type of damage and send pictures of the damage.

For Physical Damage claims, please send documents to NLCO_Physical_Damage@ryder.com. For Liability claims, please send documents to ryder_claims@ryder.com. For inquiries related to claims, please contact the Ryder Claims Office at the emails above or call 800-753-8808.      

Ryder Provides Insurance

If you are in an accident, damage(s) must be reported to a local Ryder shop immediately. If you have Ryder insurance, you must complete the Ryder Claims Intake Form for Physical Damage and send pictures of damages.  

For Physical Damage claims, please send documents to NLCO_Physical_Damage@ryder.com. 

 

Tip: Insurance Claims

Each accident must be reported. The Ryder Insurance Contract Terms terminate due to accumulated damage, and you will be billed for the full amount of the repair. For inquiries related to claims, please contact the Ryder Claim Office at the email address above or call 800-753-8808.      

 

 

3rd Party Claims

Report all liability and third-party damage by completing the Ryder Claims Intake Form for Liability and sending pictures of damages. Send documents to ryder_claims@ryder.com. For inquiries related to claims, please contact the Ryder Claim Office at the email above or call 800-753-8808.

What information do I need to submit for a claim?

You must complete the appropriate Ryder Claims Intake Form and provide photos of the damage.

You must complete the Claims Intake Form for either Liability or Physical Damage, depending on the incident.
