Video Tutorial

Watch this 3-minute video to understand how to prompt a report in RyderGyde.

Step-by-Step Process

  1. Log in to rydergyde.com.
  2. Navigate to the Reports using a quick filter and then select See Report. Some reports open directly, while others require filtering data and time frames. Prompts with the term Required in red need to be answered. Move your answer from the Available box to the Selected box using the right arrow button. Some prompts have default answers set.
    • Dynamic Date groups date ranges by relative time frames like Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days, and Prior Month. This option allows saving reports and creating subscriptions where data refreshes automatically according to the chosen time frame. Users select the date range and run the report to view data.
    • Date Hierarchy explained: Date Hierarchy lists date ranges by calendar types such as Completed Year, Completed Quarter, and Completed Month. Unlike Dynamic Date, reports saved or subscribed to with Date Hierarchy do not refresh data automatically. Users select the date range, move it to the selected box, and run the report to see the data snapshot.

The RyderGyde Reports page is accessible via RyderGyde Reports, requiring login or sign-up. For assistance, users can contact their Ryder account team or email NOW@ryder.com.

Common Questions

How do I access reports in RyderGyde?

  1. Log in to rydergyde.com.
  2. Use the quick filter to navigate to Reports.
  3. Select See Report to open a report.

Some reports open immediately, while others require you to answer prompts before running them.

Why do some reports ask me to answer questions before opening?

Some reports require prompts to filter data, such as time frames or specific criteria.

  • Prompts marked Required (shown in red) must be completed before the report can run.
  • To answer a prompt, move your selection from the Available box to the Selected box using the right arrow.
  • Some prompts include default selections that you can keep or change.

How do I choose between Dynamic Date and Date Hierarchy?

  • Use Dynamic Date if you want a report that updates automatically over time.
  • Use Date Hierarchy if you need a fixed view of data for a specific completed period.

Where are my saved/subscribed reports?

These reports don't always refresh. Dynamic Date reports refresh automatically. However, Date Hierarchy reports do not refresh and retain the original data snapshot.
