For Drivers
How do I get the RyderGyde™ mobile app?
Downloading the RyderGyde™ mobile app is necessary for having on-the-go access to start eDVIRs, logging fuel receipts, checking in your vehicle, and finding shop locations, as well as requesting roadside assistance.
- On Android devices, visit the Google Play Store.
- On Apple devices, visit the Apple App Store.
How do I create a roadside case?
When creating a case via RyderGyde™ vs. calling the 800 number, it saves approximately 10–20 minutes per breakdown. If the Driver calls the 800 number OR a case is opened on the desktop, the Driver needs to Allow location, and the agent gets their exact location; if the Driver selects Don’t Allow, they will get a second screen asking them to input their location. The Driver confirms their location. For step-by-step instructions, visit the help article How to Create a Roadside Case.
Why can't I see my fuel receipts?
The mobile app displays a history of previously uploaded receipts, allowing you to review details like date, vendor, and amount. No login is required to upload fuel receipts, but you must be logged in to view receipt history. Fuel purchase history is retained in the app for up to four years. For more information, visit our help article How to Upload Fuel Receipts.
Does Ryder resolve my closed defects on a vehicle?
There are a few use cases that could occur in this instance:
- The next driver conducting the inspection determines that there is no issue and may resolve the defect before the vehicle is brought in for service.
- The customer coordinates a repair instead of taking the vehicle to the Ryder shop for service.
- The technician may determine that no repairs are necessary.

How do I drop off a vehicle at the end of a lease?
This process can be done through the mobile app or the kiosk in a Ryder ship. To qualify for end-of-lease drop-off, the unit must be within 30 days of the lease termination date or have exceeded its lease expiration. It must also not have a scheduled appointment at the shop.
