Using the AI Assistant

Step-By-Step Guide
For a quick checklist on how to use the AI Assistant in RyderGyde, follow the steps:
- Log in to rydergyde.com or launch the RyderGyde mobile app.
- Select the RyderGyde AI launch button on the bottom center of the page.
- Type in a question or select one of the pre-formatted prompts and complete the request.
- Select Enter or the Send arrow in the chat to initiate the request.
- Allow several seconds for the AI to “think” about the correct response to your request.
- A session ends when the chat window is closed or you navigate from the current page.
Using Pre-Formatted Prompts
When you open the AI Assistant, you’ll see three quick‑start prompts (also called chat chips):
- Where is vehicle #: ___?
- Show me odometer history for #: ___
- Show me all service appointments for my account.
Selecting one of these prompts automatically inserts the text into the message field. Enter the appropriate vehicle or unit number (if needed), then select Send to submit your request. These prompts are intended to help you obtain answers faster without typing a full question.
Conversation Limits and Session Behavior
Tip: Session Limits
Previous messages cannot be restored, and the next time you sign in to RyderGyde, a new chat session will begin.
Conversation Turn Limit
RyderGyde AI supports up to ten conversational turns (questions or follow‑up questions) in a single chat session. After ten turns, you may need to start a new chat to continue your inquiry.
When a Session Ends
A chat session ends when you close the chat window or when you navigate away from the current query page.
Data Accuracy and Trust
The RyderGyde™ team has extensively engineered and tested the AI Assistant. However, because AI models are non‑deterministic, responses may occasionally be incomplete or incorrect.
Before taking action:
- Verify important information directly within RyderGyde
- Use standard Ryder support channels if something does not look correct
- RyderGyde™ remains the system of record for fleet and vehicle data.
Common Questions
What topics can I ask the AI Assistant about?
