Request Fleet Sync App in Motive Marketplace Generate a Token Share the Token Tip: Motive API Support Common Questions How do I generate a token in Motive Fleet?

These instructions are relevant for RyderConnect Fleet Sync, a tool designed to connect essential vehicle data to Ryder, and it only takes a few minutes to set up. Turning on RyderConnect Fleet Sync helps link critical vehicle data to Ryder and just takes a few minutes.

For Motive Fleet Fleet Sync users

Request Fleet Sync App in Motive Marketplace

  1. Find the RyderConnect Fleet Sync app in the Motive Marketplace.
  2. Tap Get This App.
  3. Once you are routed to the Motive dashboard, select Install.

Generate a Token

  1. Select Entire Organization (you can optionally use a tag to limit access to Ryder assets).
  2. Select Generate Token.
  3. Select Copy to Clipboard.

Share the Token

Email ryderconnect_onboarding@ryder.com with the following:

  • A note that you are signing up for Fleet Sync
  • Customer Name or Lessee number
  • API key
  • Additional points of interest, if any. 

Ryder will email you when the integration is complete. This typically takes 3-5 business days. If you have any questions, please contact the RyderConnect onboarding team at ryderconnect_onboarding@ryder.com.

 

Tip: Motive API Support

  • The Motive API support team will reach out to the admin of the account via email and will confirm that the account is subscribed to Fleet Sync.
  • Once the Motive API support team confirms the subscription, they will create an API key and provide instructions on where it is located.
  • Make sure the account is Subscribed by the Admin.
 

 


Common Questions

How do I generate a token in Motive Fleet?

After installing Motive Marketplace in Fleet Sync, select Entire Organization (you can optionally use a tag to limit access to Ryder assets) and select Generate Token > Copy to Clipboard. Finally, email ryderconnect_onboarding@ryder.com with the following in the subject bar: Fleet Sync, Customer Name, or Lessee number/Token
