This article helps drivers quickly and easily log fuel receipts through the mobile app to ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance. Submitting fuel receipts helps ensure accurate fuel records, supports IFTA compliance, and allows Ryder to match fuel purchases to trip data. Whether you’re uploading a receipt right after fueling or sharing it with your Fleet Manager, the steps below walk you through the entire process from start to finish.

Step-By-Step Guide
To submit fuel receipts, follow the steps below:
- Launch the RyderGyde™ mobile app.
- From the landing page, tap on Log Fuel Receipts.
- Enter the vehicle number or tap the barcode scan icon to scan the Ryder vehicle barcode or VIN barcode.
- Scan a fuel receipt or upload a photo if not auto-populated. Ryder's IFT department receives the fuel receipt information for comparison with the trip records.
- Tap Submit to complete the process, which will take you to the confirmation page.
- Choose the Share option to send the receipt information to your Fleet Manager.
Tip: Viewing Fuel Receipts
- You will get 3 chances to upload the receipt before having to enter the information manually. Use the Retake button if the first scan does not work.
- The mobile app displays a history of previously uploaded receipts, allowing you to review details like date, vendor, and amount. No login is required to upload fuel receipts, but you must be logged in to view receipt history.
Tip: Fuel Receipts
- IFTA Compliance: The mobile app records non-Ryder fuel receipts for interstate fuel tax reporting.
- Retention: Fuel purchase history is stored in the app for up to four years.
- Usage: For rental customers, it is recommended to submit receipts at the end of the rental or monthly for long-term rentals.
