How to set up Samsara Fleet Sync

These instructions are relevant for RyderConnect Fleet Sync, a tool designed to connect essential vehicle data to Ryder, and it only takes a few minutes to set up. Turning on RyderConnect Fleet Sync helps link critical vehicle data to Ryder and it only takes a few minutes.
For Samsara Fleet Sync users
Search for the Fleet Sync app
- Log in to Samsara, then navigate to Settings > Organization > Apps.
- Search for Fleet Sync.
- Select Install.
Generate a Token
- Select Entire Organization (you can optionally use a tag to limit access to Ryder assets).
- Select Generate Token.
- Select Copy to Clipboard.
Share the Token
Email ryderconnect_onboarding@ryder.com with the following in the subject bar:
- Fleet Sync
- Customer Name or Lessee number
- Token (generated above)
- If there are any additional points of interest, please provide them.
Ryder will email you when the integration is complete. This typically takes 3-5 business days. If you have any questions, please contact the RyderConnect onboarding team at ryderconnect_onboarding@ryder.com.

How do I generate a token in Samsara?
After installing Fleet Sync, select Entire Organization (you can optionally use a tag to limit access to Ryder assets) and select Generate Token > Copy to Clipboard. Finally, email ryderconnect_onboarding@ryder.com with the following in the subject bar: Fleet Sync, Customer Name, or Lessee number/Token
